In September I went to Iceland on a ten-day photography workshop led by Rick Sammon, Kevin Pepper and Tim Vollmer. Iceland is a beautiful country with so many beautiful spots to visit and take photos. If you plan on going be prepared. I was personally a bit surprised by the wind. One day we experienced 65 mile an hour gusts; even I had difficulty pushing through it.

We went to the geothermal fields, the highlands, captured waterfalls, walked on a glacier, hiked through parks, and sailed around a lagoon full of glacier ice on a zodiac! Oh and yes, the last day we went to the Blue Lagoon for a much needed soak in the

natural hot springs. That warm water was soothing for my tired muscles and a fitting end to a great trip. I learned a lot, met some great people and captured some interesting shots.
